  • Aerodynamic Shape
    • APR Performance GT2 AeroMirror housings are not only compact but also incorporate sharper edges to further reduce airflow turbulence. Further, the mirror stalks are not only thin but also utilize airfoil profiles inspired by APR Performance’s Adjustable Wings to reduce separation and vortex shedding. This design ethos creates a smooth transition between arms and mirror head, which further reduces interference drag.
  • Vortex Control
    • Anything that moves through air will create a wake, and there is no way to eliminate it completely. Instead of designs that allow messy, turbulent wake found on some external mirrors, APR Performance GT2 AeroMirrors intentionally create controlled vortices that guide airflow smoothly along the car’s side. This controlled wake reduces turbulence around the side windows and A-pillar region, which helps to improve downstream aerodynamics to achieve better overall aero performance.
